One-on-One Coaching

What does coaching involve? Coaching is a purposeful relationship between a coach and you focused on your goals. Through listening and asking questions, a coach enables you to gain clarity on your story up until now –and envision and daily live into the future. By paying attention to emotions, a coach enables you to gain awareness that advances your goals. Embodying change involves building practices that support where you want to go. Spiritual practices such as prayer and journaling are woven into a holistic approach in support of a tailored coaching program. You may draw on various assessment tools in service to your goals.

What results are achieved? Typical results include increased awareness and practices in support of your goals. Clients have reported growth in such areas as: discovering and fully living out their purpose in different seasons of life, transitioning to a new leadership role, providing strategic and team leadership, communicating effectively as well as embracing healthy, rooted and balanced living.

What is the typical process for working with a client? The process involves an initial conversation with Andrew or Sharon to connect and understand your interest in coaching. This is followed by a session to discuss your high level goals and develop a tailored agreement for the coaching relationship and desired outcomes. The coach and client normally connect in person or via video two times per month to support the realization of your coaching goals. Engagements often run three to four months, with the last session focused on evaluating and developing a plan for ongoing growth.
